Family Vacation Part 1

We set out for what was really our first Eames Family Vacation. We had a great time. We started in Zions Park for about 2 1/2 days. We camped. I mean we really camped. Our first night we had no toilet or running water. The next night we had a camp spot with a pool and a shower. It was also right on the river. It was an adventure to be in our 4 man tent with 5 men!! We tried to buy a new one before we left but were not successful in finding what we wanted. No of us will ever forget that sleeping experience. We took the kids on about three hikes. I was surprised how well they did. We made it all the way to the Upper Emerald Pools. For a bit I thought Hailey was not going to make it but she pushed throw it! We found out that she does not do well in the heat! If she is in the shade, she's cool. But as soon as the sun hits her she starts to melt! David carried Sam on his back for three days!! It was a great workout to say the least!

FHE @ Lake Lowell

We were invited by friends to join them at Lake Lowell to go boating. Ellie has really become a great swimmer this summer. She jumped off the back of the boat without even thinking!

Me and Hailey. She is still a little timid with the water. It took her a few times after we stopped to jump in the lake. But when she did she was really proud of herself!

My Samuel loved it when the boat would go fast. He would just laugh! I rarely get a picture with such a big smile!

Summer Fun

We have had many backyard pool parties to try and stay cool! Hailey and her friend Elsie (who is moving soon....we are all going to be so sad).
