8th Anniversary

For our 8th Anniversary I surprised David and arranged a babysitter for an overnight trip. Don't get excited it was just a trip to Boise. It was so fun to pull off a surprise! It was so very relaxing and a great time out. Our room was so nice and we had a way yummy breakfast!!! Thanks to our amazing babysitter!!!!! For whatever reason this is the ONLY picture we took!! Me not looking so hot but I wanted to record this memory!

Tuesday was our official wedding anniversary and Ellie said to me, "Are you going to put on your dress mom?" Last year for fun I put my dress on and the girls wanted me to do it again. I got it out and before I could finish putting it on the girls had their own princess dresses on. This is what David saw as he walked in from work.

The girls both said they are going to wear my veil, head piece, and dress when they get married. I'm pretty sure in about 10-15 years they will not be thinking the same thing but for now it is fun to think they would!

Ellie is starting to look so old. I love this picture of her. She is a beautiful girl!

My sweet Hailey with her little mischievous look on her face!

This year my dress was even too big!! It kind of felt good!!!

Memorial Day Hike

For Memorial Day we took the kids and went on a short hike. We went to Jump Creek. It is a short hike that ends at a big waterfall. It was really fun! Ellie and Hailey getting ready to go. I think this was the last time that Hailey was happy. She keep asking David when the Ogre was coming out of the water. He keep assuring her that there was no Ogre and it was pretend from Shrek. She was not happy!

The girls climbed up a little steeper part. You can't see but Hailey was crying and again not happy!

Me and the kids. Sam does pretty good in this pack until you get him out and then he doesn't want to get back in!

Hailey not sure is she should cry or smile.

David and the kids at the end of the hike by the waterfall. It was beautiful!

I even ventured out with Sam to get a family picture. You had cross on rocks...as to not to get wet. Well, instead of falling on Sam I went in. Wet shoes are not fun. On the way out Hailey fell in and was pretty wet up her legs. So for someone who was not happy to begin with this did not help.

1st Grade Field Trip

I went with Ellie and her class to Idaho Botanical Gardens. I think Ellie was just as excited to ride the bus. This is her class and teacher, Ms. Ego. They had their cute tie dye matching shirts on. Too, bad it rained the entire time we were gone and everyone had on jackets so you could not even see them! Gotta love Idaho!

Ellie on the bus doing her, "I love you" sign!

We went on the "Flower Power" tour and as part each of the kids got to plant a flower.

This was our tour guide of all things flower. This lady was pretty amazing. She made learning about flowers very exciting and interesting for the kids. She was very happy about her flowers!

Each of the kids got to dissect a flower. It was so cold by this point. The kids were all wet but still very happy to be on a field trip!

Me and Ellie....a bit cold and wet .......but happy to be together!! I love this girl. She is growing up so fast. By time she is 10 she will probably be as tall as me!!
